This Dreaming (Creation) story belongs to Nungarrayi, Napaljarri women and Jungarrayi, Japaljarri men and comes from the Yakurdiyi area, south of Yuendumu. The circular motifs are hollow tress in which the janganpa (possums) live and the 'E' shapes and wavy lines represent the tracks in the sand as janganpa runs from tree to tree. The men wait for janganpa to become active at night, when they leave their nests in search of mates and hunt them with karli (boomerangs).
